The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is authorized to review and act on applications to vary the Zoning Regulations or to grant special permits if it is determined that the regulations create an unusual hardship. This board also hears appeals where citizens feel any decision or order made by the Zoning Enforcement Officer was made in error. In addition the State of Connecticut requires that location approval for new dealer/repairer/fuel sales licenses be decided by the ZBA.
