Reopen Connecticut 

CT.Gov: Small Business Reopening Resource Guide

COVID-19 Business Resources from CT.gov includes information on loans, tax filing, unemployment assistance, insurance and medical leave reimbursement. Business owners can call 860-500-2333 with questions for DECD's COVID-19 Business Emergency Response Unit. 

The Connecticut Small Business Development Center's COVID19 Business Resource Center contains updated information for businesses on local, state and federal issues. They also have a section with PPP Loan Guidance

Prepared Hartford, from the MetroHartford Alliance, supports webinars and virtual events on the CARES Act, Disaster Loans, and more.

PPE Suppliers List

CONNSTEP and CBIA have parternered to make PPE available to essential frontline workers. Essential small businesses with 50 employees or less can order surgical masks for employees from CT COVID-19 Response.  (For a definition of "essential business," see here.)

 

Loan & Grant Programs

Bridge Recovery Loan Program: The State of CT is offering ZERO INTEREST loans on a first come, first served basis. A qualifying business or nonprofit organization can apply for a loan of up to $75,000 or three months of operating expenses (whichever is lesser). The term on the loans is 12 months. 

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans: Connecticut businesses are eligible for Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the Small Business Administration. Small businesses and private nonprofits unable to meet obligations or pay for operating expenses may borrow up to $2 million at a maximum interest rate of 4%. Small businesses with a relationship with a current SBA Express Lender may also be eligible for an SBA Express Bridge Loan while waiting for their Disaster Loan. The CTSBDC maintains an updated resource guide on how to apply for Disaster Loans. 

SBA Coronavirus Relief Programs: Established under the CARES Act, The Small Business Administration has various loan and debt relief programs available, including the Paycheck Protection Program, SBA Express Bridge Loans, EIDL Loan Advances, and debt relief options. The state DECD maintains a helpful guide to the CARES Act and its various provisions.
