Summer Concert Series

Unless otherwise noted below, all concerts will take place on the lawn of Southwest Elderly Housing located at 124 Southwest Avenue, Windsor Locks.  All concerts start at 7:00 pm.

Please bring lawn chairs and picnic, if you wish. No alcoholic beverages allowed. Trash barrels may not be available. Please take out what you bring in!

IN CASE OF RAIN: ALL Concerts, except the Savage Brothers on August 15, will be held at the Senior Center, 41 Oak Street. The Savage Brothers concert will be rescheduled in the event of rain.

June 20  -  Stealhead - A local jam band playing a mix of original music along with classic rock and blues covers ranging from the Beatles to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

June 27  -  Lone Wolf Trio - A versatile ensemble performing authentic blues rock with grit, power and soul.  Delivering the music of Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZ Top, Grateful Dead and other iconic artists.

July 11  -  Tirebiter - Diversity of musicianship and playing ability allow Tirebiter to perform songs from an eclectic list ranging from 1960 to 2000.  2009 winners of the Hartford Magazine Readers Poll Award!

July 18  -  Full Krew - Based out of Windsor Locks, Full Krew is "Your Good Time Party Band" playing music from the 60's through the 90's concentrating on classic rock and dance music.

July 25  -  Four Barrel Billy - Performs 50's and 60's rock, swing, rockabilly, blues, country and surf tunes.  A 3-piece dance band with a stand-up bass, big vocals and a deep catalog of songs for any crowd.

August 1  -  Jackson Hill - A contemporary country jam band covering popular country classics and contemporary country songs such as "Boondocks", "Gunpowder and Lead", "19 Somethin" and original songs including "Doubt".

August 8  -  Caribbean Beach Bums - Five guys up from the shoreline, playing and singing music from the 1960's - both planned and by request.

August 15  -  Savage Brothers - Windsor Locks' hometown celebrities known, throughout New England and beyond, for their outstanding contemporary sound and versatile talents.
