Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Ned Lamont signed an Executive Order allowing all registered Democratic and Republican voters in Connecticut to vote absentee in the August 11, 2020 presidential primary.  Secretary of the State Denise Merrill mailed every registered Democrat and Republican voter in the state an Absentee Ballot Application that will need to be filled out and returned in order to obtain an absentee ballot.  The application was sent via U.S. Postal Service and included a postage-paid return evelope.  Beginning July 21, 2020, all voters who requested an absentee ballot will receive the ballot in the mail, which will also include a postage-paid return evelope.

The Town of Windsor Locks has secured an Absentee Ballot Drop Box, which will be located outside the entrance to Town Hall, to allow voters who choose to deliver their absentee bvallots in person without close personal contact.

The Town of Windsor Locks is divided into two voting Districts.  The area of town North of Elm Street is District 1 and registered voters go to the Town Hall at the address listed above to vote.  The area of town South of Elm Street is District 2 and registered voters go to the Windsor Locks High School at the address listed above to vote.
